CAFE Central Ontario, formerly known as the Upper Canada Chapter is the founding Chapter of CAFE and serves members in the Greater Toronto area and beyond to Hamilton, Kitchener/Waterloo & Newmarket.
CAFE offers an outsider's perspective and an insider's understanding of family business. Our objective is to educate, inform and encourage our members in areas of unique interest to family business, through a stimulating program of activities that provide the best sources of information and professional advice available.
Andrew’s sole focus is helping business families implement ownership succession plans and processes. In his role, he helps family members engage in a dialogue, set responsible objectives and resolve their own issues in a disciplined and respectful way. This is achieved when the interests of the family and the business are aligned and mutually supportive.
Andrew’s approach reflects his front line experience at Pigott Construction, a 3rd generation family business, combined with 20 years as a succession advisor to family and privately owned companies. He calls upon his training in family facilitation, mediation, business valuation and advisory board effectiveness to help families develop the insights needed to choose the succession path that is right for them.
