About FEYA: Established in 1986, the Family Enterprise of the Year Award (FEYA) is given annually by CAFE to recognize, celebrate and promote the achievements of Canadian family businesses and the considerable contribution they make to both their local communities and our national economy. Each year business families across Canada are nominated through their local CAFE Chapter and recognized at special Chapter FEYA Award events. The Chapter FEYA Award recipient is then nominated for consideration for the national CAFE FEYA Award. Two finalists and one national recipient will be selected by the FEYA Committee and invited to a spectacular National CAFE FEYA Gala hosted in conjunction with our annual CAFE Family Business Symposium (TBD). The National FEYA Recipient will share their unique story and the National Family Enterprise of the Year Award is presented.
About CAFE: The Canadian Association of Family Enterprise (CAFE) is Canada's only national not-for-profit that celebrates and supports family business. Founded in 1983, it has grown to include 13 chapters from Vancouver Island to Nova Scotia. The organization facilitates peer interaction, allowing family business members to share experiences and learn from each other. CAFE also creates a community of families and professionals who can provide technical solutions and expertise to help families in business succeed. CAFE, as a result, is the voice of family business in Canada. For more information, visit cafecanada.ca
