Greetings to you and your family from the CAFE Vancouver Board of Directors. We hope the programs and opportunities offered in the past 12 months have been enjoyable.
CAFE Vancouver is striving to deliver programming and strategic initiatives to build member satisfaction. We had an extremely successful Family Business Day in April 2012, with over 130 CAFE members and guests in attendance and are looking to continue to build on that success with an exciting 2012-2013 Calendar of Events.
CAFE Vancouver offers its members numerous unique benefits. We wanted to take this opportunity to highlight several of these as we look ahead to another great year for our chapter:
Educational, Networking and Social Events: CAFE Vancouver has put together an exciting Calendar of Events for the 2012-2013 Calendar Year. It is a combination of educational and social events which will allow our members to learn from experts in their fields as well as connect with each other. A copy of the 2012–2013 Calendar is attached.
Personal Advisory Groups (PAG): PAGs are groups of up to 12 individuals, each from a family member company, who meet regularly, to share personal and business ideas to help each other overcome challenges. Currently CAFE Vancouver has five active PAGs. We have openings in a couple groups for interested members.
Access to Advisors: In an effort to build on CAFE Vancouver’s strong community, we believe our members need access to industry contacts. If you are looking for an Advisor please check out our Advisory Directory @ http://www.cafecanada.ca/membership/advisory-registry or call CAFE Vancouver.
National Network: Because you are a member of CAFE, you and your family have access to over 700 other CAFE members across Canada. The directory is located at: www.cafecanada.ca/vancouver. Look for the “Member Login” on the left hand side of the page to start networking from coast to coast. Don’t know your log-in information? Send us an email and we would be happy to assist you.
As we look to the upcoming year, we are excited about our upcoming Calendar of Events offering members a combination of learning and social opportunities. We are focused on continuing to grow membership and strengthen CAFE’s profile in the Vancouver Region.
