Progressive thinking Cresco has re-defined neighbourhoods by introducing Nova Scotia to active lifestyle communities. They place an emphasis on offering ample green space, plenty of sidewalks and amenities, and lots of room for families to live active lifestyles. Their well-established communities are now highly sought after locations because significant consideration was originally made to features like accessibility, schools, sporting activities, leisure pursuits and shopping.
Established in 1986, the Family Enterprise of the Year Award (FEYA) is given annually by CAFE to recognize, celebrate and promote the achievements of Canadian family businesses and the considerable contribution they make to both their local communities and our national economy.
Each year the National FEYA Recipient is featured at a gala dinner during which they deliver a presentation about the history and success of their business family, followed by a presentation to the recipient . Prior recipients of this prestigious award include both larger companies such as E.D. Smith & Sons Ltd. and Rogers Communications and smaller companies such as Beau’s All Natural Brewing Company and the Saskatoon Funeral Home. To nominate a worthy business family in your area please complete the FEYA Nomination or contact your local Chapter.
