Sutton Financial Group was founded by Bob Sutton in 1990 and started on the premise of providing objective and reliable advice to clients in the pursuit of financial security and peace of mind. Bob believed that if you treated people with respect and always put their interests first then the business would be a success. Bob transitioned the company over a period of time to the current partners Stuart Sutton, Jay Stark, Tim Hansen and Andrea Hansen before his official retirement in 2014. His legacy at Sutton Financial Group is carried on by the partners and a committed team who share the same values and passion. They continue to serve their clients with expert advice in financial planning. Services have expanded to include personal development, specializing in benefits and pension for businesses. Okanagan Lavender & Herb Farm. Pure. It’s a simple statement but truly inclusive by nature and behaviour. The farm is all about purity. Pure living. Pure experience. Pure enjoyment. Our offerings provide customers with a true sense of calm and serenity.
Whether it’s a stroll through our gardens, sitting at our aromatherapy counter, engaging with staff or opening one of our mail order boxes, it’s all about an earthly experience. It’s the heightened sense that the ground under your feet, the tea in your cup or the toners on your face are rooted in nature. Handmade, not processed. Tended passionately to evoke calm and to heal mind, body and spirit.
We offer a cultural experience that is relaxing for the body and the mind. To help our customers, our staff and our family find balance in their lives. Our goal at Okanagan Lavender & Herb Farm is to become a sought out agricultural destination known for producing top quality herbs, plants and products and selling them in a manner that exceeds our customer expectations.
It’s about getting back to what really matters in life. It’s about simplification and decluttering your life and your mind and refilling it back with a refined sense of purity, peace and harmony. We are mindful of a deep connection to tradition and a simpler time. It’s about remembering and appreciating the lives, arts and craftsmanship most have forgotten.

Fisher Transport was founded by Curtis and Velma Fisher in Brookfield, Nova Scotia in 1962 who started the business operating one single axle flat deck truck picking up milk and cream cans and delivering to a local dairy. The business eventually expanded to the collection and transport of raw milk from local farms and the delivery of potable drinking water to local residential customers.
In 1992 Ken and Pam MacDonald purchased the business from the Fishers which at that time consisted of 6 tank mounted straight trucks, 8 employees and revenues that were comprised of 90% milk and 10% water. Over the next decade Ken expanded the bulk liquid tanker operation to service the four Atlantic Provinces, Quebec and Ontario. In 2011, Ken and Pam hired their son Jordan as General Manager and two years later hired their son Drew as Director of Operations to help manage and grow the business. Jordan has been instrumental in establishing industry best practices with a commitment to maintaining an exemplary safety record and assisting with the expansion of the business which now services customers across Canada and in the Central, Southern and Eastern US, hauling a wide range of bulk liquid products that include sanitary, non-sanitary and dangerous goods. Fisher Transport now has a total of 64 units made up of 27 power units and 37 trailers owned and under management with over 40 employees. Most of this growth has occurred in recent years having experienced a doubling of revenues and a 12-fold increase in profitability since 2012.
Fisher Transport is a proud Nova Scotia family business that attributes their success to the continual improvement of our operations, services and commitment to safety and to open communication between and among family members.
