The Family Business Meeting Facilitation Program has been designed to assist facilitators with the process of family meetings, and covers family issues relating to business and personal goals. This program was developed through Preferred Solutions with input from Dr. Rein Petersen, Chair for Family Enterprise at York University.
Benefits of a Family Council include clarifying the boundaries between family, business and ownership; sharing information, opinions, ideas and concerns; planning for the future; examining the family's values; educating the family; and resolving conflict before it escalates.
